Rachel has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and started her career in fitness as a personal trainer and then became a group fitness instructor. She grew up in Morris County but now calls the beautiful countryside of Sussex County home and has achieved her lifelong dream of opening a fitness studio, Fitness Haven, whose goal is to help people’s fitness dreams become a reality.


Rachel has worked in both corporate and commercial fitness and for the majority of her career held the position of Group Fitness Director & Pilates Reformer Program Director of two large prestigious fitness centers in Morris County. Having taught thousands of group fitness classes and having had the privilege to work at some of NYC and NJ’s elite fitness centers, her passion for teaching group fitness has continued to grow. She is continually enhancing her education by attending national fitness conferences every year in order to seek out new certifications and programs.  Current certifications are NASM & NCSF certified personal trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, STOTT Pilates Mat 1 & 2, STOTT Pilates Reformer Instructor, Barre, Kickboxing, Zumba, Willpower & grace and MADD Dog Spinning.


Additionally, Rachel is a Certified Nutrition Coach for Fitness Professionals and a Certified Nutrition Coach for Active Aging Adults.  


When Rachel isn’t working she spends her free time hiking, running, and spending time with her husband and their three dogs. She loves the idea of helping others improve their quality of life through fitness one hour at a time!
